This project explores how a compact space can be shaped into a clear architectural statement.
Despite its limited footprint, the café is defined by strong vertical proportions. The height of the room introduces a sense of scale, allowing the space to feel open while remaining controlled and intimate.
The interior is reduced to essential elements. A central wall integrates the wine display, conceived as both a functional system and a spatial anchor. It structures the room while acting as a visible focal point, reinforcing the overall composition.
Custom-designed tables were developed specifically for the project, contributing to a cohesive spatial language. Each element is positioned with precision, balancing utility with a more sculptural presence.
Art plays a decisive role in defining the atmosphere. Rather than secondary additions, artworks introduce contrast and intensity, setting the tone of the space.
The identity extends beyond the interior. Outdoor seating becomes part of the architectural expression, unified through a consistent colour palette that strengthens the overall concept.
A minimal environment where proportion, material and placement define the experience.
